Murtal the Turtal (Turtle) is getting her lead weight glued back on...
Murtal our Green Sea Turtle getting her lead weight glued back on after it fell off, owing to the constant growth of her shell.
Murtal is one of our rescued animals after she was hit by a boat in Sydney harbour. She now has an air pocket somewhere in her shell causing her rear to float. She now needs this extra weight to correct her buoyancy.
Well done Manly Sea Life Sanctuary staff!

Good work team - when our Shark Dive Instructors and Sea Life Sanctuary staff are not taking people on amazing dives, they are helping clean our beautiful oceans of all the rubbish humans put in there.

Geri Haliwell of Spice Girls and Australia's got talent popped into Manly Sea Life Sanctuary recently...and it seems that she automatically drew some of our staff with 'similar attributes' to her...
